Tokico Vs. KYB
I need new shocks...so While Im at it..im thinking of dropping the car at the same time...I have a Civic with 16s Rotas...
My Question is which one of these is better:
TOKICO HP SHOCKS & SPRINGS with a 1.4 inch drop all around

or
KYB GR-2 SHOCKS & SPRINGS with a 1.5 inch drop all around

Allow me to speak from experience and recommend the KYB dampers over the Tokicos.
When I bought my GTi, it had a set of Tokico Blues on OEM springs. I mounted a set of 336 lb/in springs with about 1" of drop and within a year they were worn out. I moved on to the AGX adjustables and kept those damper for another 4 years.
Find the spring rate of those Vogtland springs; if it matches the GR-2 damper range, you'll be fine.
