Default is my computer going to be looking for a 4 wire o2 sensor?

doing a swap now. 92 civic cx, has a 2 wire o2 sensor. , putting in the 92-95 jdm b16 that has a 4 wire. since im using the stock cx harness i took out the cx o2 sensor and put it in the b16 motor. when i plug in the computer , is it going to be looking for a 4 wire o2? will i get a code? thanks in advance

Just remember that you need to make your engine exactly what your ECU will be looking for. If you're using the B16 ECU into the car, you need to have everything on the engine that is expected by the ECU.

I suggest you get the B16 harness. It will save more than just this headache and make everything work correctly with the new ECU.

Easier to get the harness made for the 4 wire 02 plug than try to wire the old harness to use it. I have been wrong before, but that seems like it would be easier than trying to canabalize the CX harness

I'd say so.

My '95 DX was using a 4 wire sensor and I used the GSR harness.

just go ahead and use the cx harness modify as needed..go ahead and look at a diagram of a 4 wire o2 sensor harness and compare it to your 2 wire..you see how to wire it up...
