fixing hydrolock
I hydrolocked today after getting a flat tire.
Bad car day.
Anyway, to get the water out of the engine, do I just pull the spark plugs out and crank the engine until the water comes out? Is there anything else to it? I do plan on changing the oil too.

We saved a 00 Si at the Honda dealer I worked at by pulling the plugs and cranking it for a long time. When the car did start a lot more water came out of the exhaust to. Even though it ran fine the mechanic said that it still put a lot of wear on the motor. Also change the oil IMMEDIATELY, it will look like muddy oil when it comes out.
I found alot of water in the first 2 cylinders closest to the front of the engine. I got it out. It has been 2 days drying out and I put a bit of Marvel mystery oil in the cylinders to see if it would break lose. So far I have tried to turn it over and it does not move. Should I try to pop the starter continously? Is there a way to turn the crank manually? I cannot see how to get a socket in there.
