We did that on my cousin's 5G back in 99. Came out clean, and you can tell people it's "Type R", since the EK9 skirts were pretty much the same

Yep, you'll need to trim approx. 2" off the front part, and then everything else bolts up.
edit: I have pics at home of an EK skirts install. I'll post them when I get home later.

They're basically the same length. You just drill new holes in the chassis to reposition the plastic clips that hold the skirts on.

If it's a 5g coupe, you don't need t trim them at all.
