does anybody know of any good places where they have instructions for removing and installing front fenders on a '97 civic? or has anybody done it and can give me some tips? i learned alot from asking questions previously on this board so i figured i'd give it a shot before i blindly started taking apart my car. i've never done it before so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

 

you could probably just unscrew the bolts that hold it on.

 

Yeah, it's a fender, not a rocket ship. Its gotta be like 6 bolts if even that.

 

where are you at in baltimore?

 

Ahh, its not hard, its like 6 bolts that you take off, the hardest part is getting the bolts that i think are on backside of where the door and the fender meet. You may have to take the head light out, and unbolt the side skirt. Its just simple nuts and bolts.

on my 90 there si this plastic bull**** on the back, that was the worst part. i think thats on my 99's though too, no?

 

Dont get a helm's get common sense. Use problem solving abilities to remove it. Thats how i do a lot of work. Just look at it and figure it out. Usually quicker than posting stuff up. Look you didnt get much help just: "Undo like 6 bolts or something" When you figure it out yourself its more fun and rewarding. Good Luck:thumbup:
