So this came out of a 88-91 Us model CRX? if anybody knows an exact model that would be great.

ok...then my best bet is that they are latter JDM Civic Ferio SiR front seats.

JDM seats have the hard backing with no magazine holders. Your's is probably a CDM or USDM market CRX seats.

got any ideas or tips on how to get them re-cushioned or reupholstered? i was told that i have to get the exact model year so that the shop could order the exact cushion and cloth piece. the estimate i was given was $135 for the torn side bolster shown in the second picture and $100 to redo the lower seat cushion.

$235 sounds a bit steep to me. If anybody knows a good place that can do the same job for less do let me know! (I'm located in upstate NY, but if you have a location in the Toronto region that's cool too!)

get them totally reupholstered, should only be about $50-75 a seat depending on who will do it.

yeah they are in decent shape however the driver's side seat cushion has a side bolster that is a bit torn. you can't really see it in the pictures above. what happened was the cushion tore but the cloth didnt. and also, the seat itself is uneven as the cushions have taken a beating.

if i can get the seat simply reupholstered that would be great, but after i visited the first place i dropped in on, i'm wondering if anybody will be willing to sew that seatback side bolster together without fixing the bolster.

But i would like to get the lower portion re-cushioned, if it can be done for a reasonable price...

i got those for $180. yes i would have liked to have gotten newer seats, but that would have cost me $400-450 easily.

the passenger's side seat is in good shape and just needs to be cleaned up. if i cant fix the driver's side seat then i'll just use the passenger seat for myself.
