Default Some Brake Questions

I'm looking to upgrade my brakes (96 Civic DX Coupe). I've checked out this chart here http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1811368&page=1 but want to be 100% before I go out and collect parts to do this.

Any 98-01 Integra Master Cylinder is essentially the same as a CTR MC?

91-95 Acura Legend Calipers will work on my car (and are more or less the same as ITR Calipers)? Do they bolt straight up to my existing hardware? Front and back?

It looks like I can take the rear spindle off a 90-93 Integra and bolt it onto my trailing arm. If I do this do i need to upgrade my calipers to match the Legend Calipers as well?

Thanks for any replies. I'm just on a budget and want to make sure I know what I'm doing before I go out and spend the money and time to remove the parts.

I see your from Cali near Sac. Check out craigslist, they have a complete conversion from a gsr for 250. That is the best way to go IMO. I have that setup on my 99 EK and they bolt right in.

your dx knuckles will be a trouble maker. mike (brakeexpert) sells milled ITR calipers that will fit over your knuckle. i'm running those and i can tuck them under a 14" wheel still. but that's about the biggest caliper you'll fit under a 14" just fyi. i had to shave off the wheel weights to clear the caliper, that's how close it is.

other than that, you'll need ex knuckles for any gsr, itr, legend calipers etc

read mike's breakdown on properly sizing your MC. it's very important to match it to your brake setup for good pedal control. if the ctr is a 1" then you'll need to find a gsr not just any integra, others came with 15/16". if that's what you are after.

I have seen GSR conversions for $200 on craigslist, so if I'm patient I can probably find a better deal than what is on there right now. I more or less exhausted my car budget for a couple of weeks fixing my windows (they now roll up and down!), ordering sound deadener, picking up plastic interior pieces from Honda and a visit to Audio Xpress yesterday. I'm going restoration before modification. I did see a Del Sol with all of it's brake component's unmolested at a junkyard so I think I'll call for a price today. Do I need all four knuckes and calipers? Should I get the front Legend calipers while I'm there or will they not fit?

But if I go the Junkyard route I could buy it a few parts at a time.
