are you on after market rims?

are your tires the correct OEM sizing?

is your alignment off?

i had a similar problem but the problem only came on after a little bit of driving. meaning if i just left my house it was fine. get to work the noise was there. It was bearing. It doesn't necessarily need to seize. Mine was really bad. when I took the hub to get the bearing pressed out the guy just pulled it out with his finger. That's how bad it was. It wound up destorying my hub also.

I did notice that my axel nut was loose when I took apart everything. Jack up your car, and just look to see if the axle nut is loose or if anything looks out of place or ordinary. If it's your first time looking down there. Take some pix and the rest of us can look too.

Anyways I'd put my money on wheel bearing.

I had a bad bearing on my old car before my civic....it was a constant "thump thump thump thump" noise. It happened all the time...not just when I turned. It would start the second the car started moving, and continue until I stopped again. If its only happening when you're turning, I would suspect a bad cv joint. Check it out....does it have grease all over the outside of it?

There is a slim chance that it is the wheel well liner is loose and touching the wheel on tight turns.

could very well be a cv joint also... but it's clicks more than it grinds. but it could be just the use of words.
