Hey guys, I need some help with this.

My girlfriend of 5 years has just graduated from college as a registered nurse and passed your license test too. She just got a job at a hospital at a rate of $30/hr. (I'm very proud of her)

Well, she asked what I wanted for christmas this year, and said that my limit would be $1500.00

So, I have been debating on what to get. car stuff or non-car stuff. So far, I have come up with a couple of things (no particular order) and if you can, put these in the order you would get:

1) JDM recaro seats(red or black) ~1500 plus I can sell my custom celica seats for some extra cash and buy something with that.
2) HID lights ~500
3) Skunk2 or CTR cams ~600-700
4) Some other kind of engine upgrade ?
5) Upgrade my hardware stuff on my computer ~600
6) New rims ~400-500
7) Tweed up my celica seats ~300-400
8) Maybe some Carbon fiber pieces hood and lip ~800
9) Other (please specify, can also be non-car related too)

I'm really into either car, toys, or electronical stuff

I don't know what you have already...post some pics of your car or atleast a list of mods done already and I'll be of some help.

Let's see, 1500 is a good amount to play with...

- Swap (or do you already have one...)?
- Rear Disc Brake setup
- Full audio/video setup for your car
- Home theater system
- Laptop computer
- Respray the car
- Or how about this... Take the 1500 cash, and then surprise your girlfriend on a trip/vacation/cruise or something...

 

Do you gotta spend that kind of $ on her??? If so, Ouch!!! The whole idea of saving it and taking her on a trip or something sounds like a good idea to me

 

Hey that's a good idea. But I wouldn't be able to cause she can't get off work for a while, cause she just started. I think about 6 months of orientation. Also I don't think she would give me the cash.

Also, i forgot to mention what I already had. I already have a sound system, a b18c1 swap, Full GSR 4-wheel disc conversion, and everything else. I already have a nice home theater system for my room, i'm not really into laptops cause you can't upgrade easily, and I think I am fine with the color of my car right now. So, what should I do?

For str8edgexx, I don't have to spend that kind of cash on her, cause I don't have a job right now. She is very considerate. Although, when I was making 50k a year, I did spend about the same amount on her that christmas.

 

She sounds like a really cool girl...definitely a keeper. :thumbup:
