Rim Question
How do you know(other than by physical appearance) if your rim is bent?

take it and see if a tire shop will balance in front of you and then you probably can tell if it is bent then

If your front wheels are bent, your steering wheel will vibrate...
The Island roads shouldn't be THAT bad.... where was this?

If it only vibrates at mid to high speeds the wheels could only need to be balanced.
How old are the tires? Tire separation can also cause vibration.

Right... if they are only minor bends, you could simply just get them rebalanced.
