I don't know why you're thinking of getting NEW Si rims. You can get a set of used ones with good rubber WAY cheaper than that. But I'd go with the Buddy Clubs!

thanks guys for the inputs. i know that c8 are cheaper... and yeah i agree that $160 left over can be used for something else... however... i see lots of C8 around already... so i don't know if i should get it. so most likely i'll go with the buddy club... plus i like their design also. btw, they are the P1 series. have to find out about the weight and whether or not they are sturdy...

chris... do you know if the buddy clubs are sturdy???

The 15's weigh 12.5lbs or so. As for the strength, I saw some posts on an Impreza board that implied they weren't all that strong, but I don't know how valid that claim is.
