Default 1999 Civic LX Pads

I removed the pads off my '99 Civic sedan which were difficult to come off. Now, they have a hard time going back into the keepers. I have worked on brakes on my other Honda's with no issues. The part number on them is:
AK NS148H EE with 3 triangles. I can't find this part number anywhere on the web. Is this the right part number?

Is it the pad shape or is it the piston being out not letting you push the pad in?

The caliper is up out of the way so the piston is not involved. I can't get the pad to seat into the bracket where the keepers are located. They were also very difficult to get out of the bracket which I find unusual. My other Honda's were never like this. The pads were replaced at Honda before I owned the car. At the worst, I'll shave them down until they fit into the keepers. I suspect this is what has caused the uneven brake wear.

There may be a build up of rot under the keeper. Just get a wire brush and go to town on that biatch.

take the clips off the caliper bracket and hit the caliper bracket and the clips with a wire wheel/brush until all the build up and shit is off them. Then put the pads back in. They should go in easily and move easily but not sloppily.

The upper keepers were switched between inner and outer. After I switched them, no problems. I knew it had to be something stupid.
