i got a 92 eg dx and i am doing the rear disc brake conversion. And i was wondering if it is worth putting gsr front brakes on too. How much bigger are they and does any other disc brake setup work besides the gsr. I am already planning on putting a bigger MC on too.

92-95 EX fronts will work. If you get the ones that had Abs or rear disc brake options, those front rotors are larger than the dx, and lx.

 

yes totally worth it. Also there is no difference between the teg GSR/LS/RS/GS front brakes.

 

there are a ton of options, read brakeexpert's thread on HT.

you can swap on milled ITR's onto the dx knuckle. i run them on a 10.5" disk up front and they are MASSIVE calipers. bigger than all other integra's. paired those up with gsr rear disks and a 1" gsr mc and booster and the setup is FANTASTIC. i love it. feel much more safe too

if I didn't hate 17's so much, I was gonna do the RL front brake swap on the EK. I have a couple sets of 07 RL calipers laying around at work and rotors. Was gonna buy brake experts caliper adapters and have him re-drill the rotors h:

 

FYI the type r brake calipers are the same as first gen odysseys. Hey lee any chance you might have some TL front brakes?

 

The Hype R are also the same knuckle and caliper as 98 CRV's

mo specific. Are you looking for the Brembo TL-S/six speed front brakes or just the regular TL calipers and rotors?

 

haha yeah his RL conversion is sweet...too bad he loves his 17's yuk!
