Default 92-95 civic HEADERS....

Right now im trying to decide on which header im going to get. Im pretty much looking on ebay at all of them, and ive found that there are some cheap ones, but dont most do the same job? My question is which is better, a 4-2-1 two piece header OR the 4-1 one piece header. Im really clueless on which is better and all, so if anyone could help me thatd be great. Also what kind should i get, the ceramic coated or stainless steel? and Does it really matter?

Better, depending on what you want. Don't go with a bootleg header, it will rust you out or worse.

4-2-1 gives you slightly more torque.
4-1 is slightly higher in the top end.

Either case, Header won't do much for Civic's (at least for my car).

Get a name brand that's preferably 50-state street legal. DC, GReddy, and Neuspeed have legal headers.

As for improvements...expect 3-5hp...nothing dramatic.

b-series respond very well to the JDM itr 4-1 header

EGcivic02,

So header did you end up getting? Are you happy with it? I am looking at the Chikara becuase of the price -- and that I plan to sell the car in 1-2 years anyhow. I have a cracked manifold so I am thinking about putting on headers instead, but I don't want them to make the car louder or normal/tame driving.

I havent gotten one yet. I got a turbo kit instead, but now that i sold that, ill probably end up getting a Greddy. If you already have a full exhaust, expect your exhaust to be louder.
