What eats gas and is unreliable? Imports or Muscle Cars? It would have to be Muscle Cars, though depends on what Muscle Car. The new Camaros, Firebirds, and Mustangs actually get decent gas mileage compared to their '64-'74 counterparts. However they are actually ****tier since they are more complicated and Ford and GM sometimes skip quality for a cheaper price. The older ones are very simple and actually reliable as you can find '55 Chevys still cruising around today, sure they have probably been rebuilt 5 times but for something that old what do you expect.
For gas mileage and reliabilty though Import is the way to slow, oops I mean go.

Also take into consideration "style". If you want a car JUST to race then sure, get one that has alot of power and who cares what it looks like. If you want a car you LIKE then look for one with reasonable performance and looks good to you.
Also in my class doing mods might net you 1/10th of a second which can be the difference between 1st place anf 5th place. So for me to mod my car yeah it's worth it
