Default Horn isn't working...need help!!

hey, i have a problem. My horn for my car isn't working. Both of the horn buttoms on the steering wheel do not work. i'm pretty sure my connections are still together and the fuse is not blown.. what could the problem be and how do i fix it?

How did you determine that it's not the horn itself?

take the horn off and put voltage to it. If it works then great. Than put a voltage meter at the two wires going to the horn plug and pres sthe horn button and see if you get proper voltage.

On Topic: My horn used to be crazy loud, now it honks, but breaks off... kind of like it's going through puberty or something. :dunno:

That means your horn is going out, that's exactly what happened to mine before it went. Then, right after that, my switches went one by one.

Yeah, my dad has had two Nissan Xterra 4X4's and his whole club uses hella air horns to help locate each other out on trails. They are loud as fuack. Oh, and Xterra's can go anywhere
