Default the ultimate sleeper

i was just thinking about what i'd make into the ultimate sleeper. i'd take a a 99 or 00 si (i'll get one someday) and just mod everything under the hood imaginable. just drop it to the ground and keep it all stock on the outside. maybe a mesh grill and some nice wheels but that's it cosmetically. that's my dream.

anyone else's?

that would be a nice car...but I dont' think an Si could be considered a sleeper....they are relatively fast even stock. A sleeper has to be a slow-a$$ car from the beginning.

I once heard of a Hyundai excel with a 600+hp DSM engine in it, or an old VW Bug with a Porsche turbo engine in it that was totally stock from the outside except for wider tires and a bigger exhaust.....now those two are some of the ultimate sleepers.

that's true, i guess a si wouldn't be exactly a sleeper. but i'd just like to focus on putting performance parts on it and leaving it look close to stock, instead of buying tall wings and altezza taillights like a lot of people do where i'm from.
