ruined weather strips...

Default ruined weather strips...

how do i go about replacing them..the ones on the side and top of the windshield? do i have to go to a glass place or go to honda and get the parts.???? i think i ruined them taking them offh:

is it the actual plastic pieces? if so then yeah u can get em from honda. if its the gooey sealeat stuff, glass place.

ok..this is the deal...the strips on the side are good they arent broken..just about all the red clips are broken, and one orange one is broken. ill get that from honda...the one on top i dont think will seal after i put it back in, b/c it was gooey (i guess) but i doubt i will beable to put the strips back in myself...anyone know how?

clean them and reapply with silcone glue? you should talk to your bodyman or a professional body shop.

i just tried to put in the strip that goes on the top...it went in fine...yeah, got point..after its painted ill use some silicone and reapply it....

what about those clips and shiit on the side...there are 3 different ones...ill post up pics when i get home...

if youre talkin about the side trims, i just simply spread out the good clips I still have...but im almost sure that the dealer can get you more. You could always go to a body shop or paint supply because they need them whenever they do work on someones car.

on my truck they were glued on, feel lucky...should have seen the mess i left when i took those off :doh:
