Default Oem 99 00 Civic Si Springs and Shocks

Does anyone know if there would be any benefit from putting a stock set of shocks and springs from a 00 civic Si on my 97 civic DX? Is there any difference performance wise. I have had a set sitting around forever that I took off my Si when it only had 10k miles and thinking about putting them on my DX. Are the Si springs any lower?

they are a little lower and will improve your ride handling a little but on an si there is also sway bars in front and rear to make it drive better.

ok thanks, I think I will swap them this weekend. Has anyone ever cut springs to make the car lower?

cutting springs will dramatically change the spring rate unevenly. it is not recommended and is better to just spend it on some lowering springs.
