Default Front strut replacement on a Civic

On a 2001 Civic (180k miles, original struts) I need to replace the front struts. Is this a pretty straight forward job for a do-it-yourselfer?

Aside from the struts, is there anything else that would usually need replacing at this time such as the mounts or coils?

I was thinking about using Bilsteins as they usually last a long time. This car is a daily driver, not a performance car. Do you have any other recommendation regarding which brand of struts to buy?

Thank you
Glenn

im looking at the tanabe sustec i have a 95 civic im thinking of getting both rear and front. but idk wat the difference is? i heard that if u put one in the front it creates more understeer, so since this is a FR might as well put the rear in first?

anyone else can help me with this?
