Default Resurface or replace rotors?

The front rotors on My girlfriend's Civic EX sedan are a bit warped. She called Midas and they told her that, "Honda brake rotors are kinda thin and we might not be able to resurface them." (I'd do the work myself, but I live downtown and don't have a garage.)

Is this true, or does he just want to sell us new rotors? The car has 43,000 miles on it and under braking, there's noticable vibration.

What do you think?

I'd just replace them. You can get new rotors for about 60 apiece now. And a set of new pads for about 40.
