foglights help PLEASE

Default foglights help PLEASE

my friend can get me foglights , the only catch is - its just the foglight and two wires sticking out of it , now can i still use them or they as good as garbage ? i was thinking going to autozone or strauss and getting the cheap foglight kit and use thier wires . will that work ?

I would think it would....the two wires sticking out of the back are the ground and the signal wire. You'd need to connect each of those two signal wires together, and then run them up to a switch. You're gonna need a power supply wire of some sort, with a built in fuse also.

yes it will work. instead of getting a cheap foglight kit and using the wires, just get the wiring harness by itself. that way you don't get stuck with 2 foglights, unless you will be willing to donate the unused foglights to me =)

autozone has Pilot wiring harnesses. the cheapest harness has no relay and goes for $4.99:


this harness goes for i believe $21.99 at autozone:


this is a remote control harness, you use a keychain remote to turn them on/off. the remote can be mounted on the dash if desired:


my buddy had factory style OEM foglights for his civic, and he took out the OEM fog lamps and kept the factory wiring harness. he wired them to some PIAA 1000's.

If you know how to wire, then its not hard.

Are they OEM style? Do they (OEM or other) have mounting brackets. It may be better to buy new ones.

thanks alot bro , i went to strauss auto discount found one for liek 17 bucks and im installing them today :thumbup:
