dash light question

Hello all, I just had an aftermarket (pioneer receiver) put in my 2002 civic lx 4dr. Tonight I noticed that the rear window defrost button, the recirc button and the ac button were not illuminated....should they be back lit at night?

No they should all be lit. Maybe the person who installed your deck forgot to plug in the wire. Check into that.
