radiator hoses question!

Default radiator hoses question!

hey this might be a super dumb question but whatever. i need to change my radiator hoses (upper and lower) in my 94 ex. picked them up cut to fit, now what do i need to do to replace them? just remove the old ones and plug in the new ones? is their anything more i would need to do like flushing the system or what? thanks

yeah your gonna have to remove all the fluid or its gonna get everywhere..there is a plug(screw) under the radiator, just undo it and let it all drip out...


why didnt you get the hoses for your car, instead of cutting them to fit?

I changed my top one without any fluids spilling. The bottom one you most likely have to flush out the radiator.

no they came cut to fit...so what else i would i need to properly do this? like fluids, etc. and about how long would it take?

you need extra radiator fluid, and it should take about 10minutes...just remember after you change the hoses, refill it from the radiator not the run off tank, while the car is on so you know when the radiator is full then you can fill up the runoff tank.
