Default 2004 Honda Civic won't start . . .

Hey guys, went on vacation for a week, come back to snow (it's winter here), and when I try to start my Civic up I get a rapid clicking noise as the lights on my dash flash rapidly.

I dumped some gas line anti-freeze in the gas tank 3 hours ago and still nothing.

Anyone else come across this before?

Might be the alternator/battery/starter. I would get a boost and try to start the car and see what happens, then post back.

If you don't have a volt meter to check the battery (good idea to take a look at the cables anyway) you can run the wipers as a somewhat accurate indication of your battery's condition.

Even if your lights, etc. look normal, your wipers may be extremely slow compared to normal, in which case get a jump.

Seems like you need a jump.
