Default Tach Help

I recently bought a set of red faces for my gauges in my 98 Civic EX. I fought my way down to gauges themselves and I currently have the "glasstic" front, the bezel, and the cluster backing off. One problem though, my needle is sticking, nothing is wrong with it, it came out with not much trouble. For some reason there is a very slight amount of slack in the needle housing on the motor in the tach. I thought it might need to be lubed again, as there isn't any on it. Other than sagging after a few revs, there seems to be no major problems.

What I'm trying to say is, has anyone else had this problem and if so, what have you done to fix it?
