Default Insurance cost

Is there any difference in insurance cost between Civics 2-Dr Coupe, 4-Dr Sedan and 2-Dr Hatchback with same engine and same year.

And what about Auto vs manual transmission.

there will be a difference between a 2 door versus a sedan!!

coupes are considered sporty versus the sedan to be more modest!!!

from what my insurance told me(progressive), it would only change your premium 2-3 bucks a month, but its more of what kind of motor you have in the car, hence an SI vs. EX coupe, the SI would be much more expensive, but if you take say a EX coupe vs. a EX sedan, it wouldnt vary too much.

Progressive is a really good insurance company...but we have to remember that not all the companies come up with the premium using the same categories(eg. Experience, type of car, age of driver, etc.etc) !!
