Default Civic Hatch 1997 ?

One more quetion to everybody? can I install on my civic CX a skunk intake manifold or I would need to get a D16Y8 HEAD and with the manifold and take all the sensors out of that one I just want to make sure I can because I'm planning on building a head but I can't see that much for the D16Y7 at all and I don't like the way the Throttle-body is on the CX facing up thank's to all

only effort you should put into a D series, is taking it out.

Yes. This is a worthless little pipsqueak motor. Trying to make it fast is a waste of money. Figure out what your performance goals are and get the appropriate motor to meet those goals. Your d16y7 is good for only one thing: driving to the grocery store.

OK, rather than just asking whats "good," why don't you think about what your performance goals are. Figure that out and then try using the search function. Read up and learn, then if you still have coherent questions, come back and ask them

my goals are not too have a fast ass civic because I have another car and that one is the beast but I still want this little car to have more then 80HP because is slow I would like to build a head or something not too expensive like a swap i don't want to spend 3500 hundred I want to spend at the most 1500 maybe 2000 at the most so and this car is the DD so i would like to have a lil fun on it I also have a turbo that I took off the other car so I guess I can put the turbo on this one as well if I want to boost it up but for now I just want to know if a D16 would be fun to build or I would be just wasteing my time and money thank;s to all
