Default i need help desperately!!! b16a3 into ek (1999 civic ex)

okay i know you might call me a dumbass for not getting the same obd engine as my car, well i got a b16a3 complete swap off a delsol dohc vtec for about a grand. im not doing this myself, my buddy that owns a shop knows his shit, he did a b16a2 (obd2) into an eg6 (i take is an obd1) but thats the wrong way im going, im going obd1 engine in obd2 car. i have done tons of research already about the shit i need and blah blah blah (i dont know if my buddy knows his stuff about going obd1 engine in obd2 car, so im trying to help him out)
i know that i need axles from a 94 up integra, a 94 up gsr shift linkage, a new 99 si rear engine mount, the p/s pump, *im deleting my ac in order to make room for a turbo* and i already have the intermediate shaft from the delsol dohc vtec, as well as the WHOLE wiring harness, the ecu, the engine and tranny ofcourse....and all the other goodies that came with it....basically ripped everything from the delsol's engine bay.

now the hard part....am i supposed to get an obd2-obd1 conversion harness for the ecu if i wana keep my dash harness? if not, where is a site i can get wiring diagrams?

any help would be greatly appreciated (REALLY!) since my buddy wants my d16y8 in a customer's civic VERY SOON...and im getting the engine yanked tomorrow afternoon.

thanks so much

jason

A conversion harness should be all you need. And I hope you're not in CA.

And kudos, you are the first new guy I've seen on this site in ages that had already done a little research and was able to formulate complete sentences.

thanks man, i hope the conversion harness is all i need besides all the other hardware that i already have my filthy little paws on.....by conversion harness, you are talking about the one that converts the obd2 harness into the obd1 plug for the obd1 ecu in the kick panel inside the car right?
