Default Free Manifold + Free time = New Setup

Like the title say i got a free Y8 manifold, and it was slow at work so i made it work on my car. i can tell you this, it is far from bolt in. I happen to get one from an Auto. So i had to drill and tap hole for the IACV and the IAT(have to on either auto/5spd) THe other prob i ran into is that this manifold had the Air injection System. I ended up JB welding the 5 holes on the face of the manifold. (one above each injector, and on central hole) From my Butt dyno i can feel that there is better power on Accel, Thou i dont think it would be worth buying one and doing this. Here are some pics

I remember reading there are some gains from the y8 mani on a z6.

Tony, if that doesn't work out I've got z6 block and crank laying around.

haha yea yea, i keep tellin her that i'm gonna & she's skerd. I told her 6-8psi on a straight t3 (bout 200hp) wouldn't be anything crazy. She thinks it will end up fast like my red car.

she just needs to learn stick first.
