Default Trying to figure it all out!!!

I've got a 95 ex coupe with a dead d16z6 and second gear isnt there any more. Im planning to replace it with a b16 motor and tranny. I've got a good bit of info so far still a little unsure? can I use the mounts I have or do I need to get new ones from hasport. The only other thing is the wiring for the knock sensor? I cant find an ecu drawing, and do I need to use the one from the b16 or can I use the one from my Ex might sound stupid to you but I duno?

if the b16 is an obd1 motor you can use the original engine harness, as far as knock sensor, use the p28 ecu.. that ecu eliminates the use of a knock sensor.. other than that everything else is plug n play..

yes, you should have a P28 already. You might need to chip it to run a B16 map. I haven't done a swap so I'm not sure. Check the swap section, it should contain all the info you need. https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/f...splay.php?f=33

since your civic's pre obd2, just go b16a3 for the hydro tranny...thats what i say. oh yeah, if anyone is confused about the little controversy about the b16a3 being obd2, its obd1. thats where my civic is going....tomorrow, getting a b16a3, except youre a little luckier than i am...my car's an obd2 civic ex ('99) so dont be stupid like me
