mini me swap
i tried searching for this and didn't find anything useful.
besides that i have a stock 98 coupe (d16y7) and i am doing the y8 head swap aka mini me. i have the head and a y8 intake manifold. and i am looking for a vtec ecu.
1. should i go with an ex ecu? or buy a jumping harness and a P28 ECU?
2. what other parts do i need to complete the swap?

go with a p28 ecu and jumper harness.. it eliminates the knock sensor and nd 02 senor so you wont have to worry about findin a knock sensor cause its a bitch.. all you basically need is the ecu, a new head gasket and a couple wires to wire up the vtec...timing belt dont have to change unless you want to.. oh and doin the iacv fix.. theres tons of info on that all over the net... next step after the mini-me.. turbo..
