My drivers side door doesnt lock automatically I have to manually lock it. Does anyone know why it doesnt respond to the lock switch. The passenger works fine just the drivers side dont work.

If the driver's side door is open, you have to pull the handle while you push the lock button/tab. It's a Honda thing, whether auto or manual locks.

You're probably right, but what I took from the Q was that he has to "manually lock it" which assumed meant using the key as opposed to "automatically" locking it by pushing the switch.
I wouldn't phrase it that way myself, but that's what I assume he meant :hsdunno:

Now that I think about it, makes more sense that he means it won't lock automatically w/ the remote while the doors are closed. In which case you would be right

I installed OEM power door locks and windows to my Eg6. I thought my Driver side power lock didn't work properly because the switch doesn't activate the driver side when the door is open. It only works on the driver side when the door is closed. It took me a while to get used to it. I went through two actuators trying to figure that shit out.

If that's not the problem, then Lee's right.

actually the lock actuator will work with the door open if you have the inner handle pulled
