car shakes??

Default car shakes??

i have a 1991 honda civic hatchback and when i hit the gas or let off the gas it shakes like there is a bolt missing or something anyone have any idea what could be wrong?? please let me know

sounds like a bad axle, very common with remanufactured cv axles.

i dont know but ill check it out but im not sure cause i can feel it in the shifter too

If you just mean you feel vibration, when the car isn't moving, it's normal to feel some vibration in the shifter at idle (especially since the linkage uses rods, not cables) and a very small amount in the steering wheel. How much and at what rpms depends on the car.

If it's enough that you can actually see the steering wheel vibrate and/or hear things vibrating in the interior (more than just the occasional buzz when it's cold) than I'd guess your motor mounts are the cause.

it only happens when im moving not when im sitting at idle and my car also when im sitting at a stop feels like it it gonna die then it revs a vacuum leak mabey?
