Alright, I just recently swaped my blown non-vtec 1.5 w/ a 1.6 Vtec w/ really low miles. Anyway, I installed the engine and got it running quicker than receiving the correct P28 ecu for the motor. My question is that is it bad for the motor w/ the Vtec not running?

Reason: bad spelling
are you trying to say is it bad to run a vtec motor with the vtec not working?...if so im pretty sure it won't do any harm...it will just be even slower as balls
I wouldn't run it on the d15b7 ecu for long, as it runs different parameters for different cam lobe size and injector pulses...but its fine to fire it up on it.
