Problem one of rear windows..HELP?!

Default Problem one of rear windows..HELP?!

(1993 Civic LX)
The window isn't automatic. The window dosent go up or down when i crank the lever.. but when pull on the window i can pull it down or push it up.. how can fix this problem..

if it involves taking the door panel off.. im able to get most of it off.. but around the area of where the window lever is.. how can i get that off?

You'll need to take the lever off before you remove the whole panel. I believe this is some clip/pin right where the lever rotates. Grab a chilton/haynes manual or search online to see how to remove that. After that's off you should be able to remove it the rest of the way

You're supposed to use a hook, insert it directly behind the handle (parallel with the handle) with the hook facing you, and you should be able to get ahold of it.

If you don't have something w/ a small hook on it laying around, I would try bending a coat hanger. You'll need to use a needle-nose pliers or something similar to bend it into a small enough hook to fit in that space.

A screwdriver might work, but I would think you'd have to jack up those surfaces a bit in the process. Might bend the clip a bit as well.
