cluster problem :(
so i was driving down the highway today, lights on cuz it was raining, and i go to flick my blinker to the right but i only slightly clicked it upwards like halfway to the point to engage the blinker, and as i did this, my speedo and tach both dropped to 0. slightly confused i continued down the highway and i go to put my blinker on and it doesnt work. no blinker light on cluster or blinkers coming on at all. my cluster light still works but none of the gauges do, my interval setting on my wipers doesnt work but the other 2 do, and my hazards work. i checked all the fuses having to do with the cluster and lights and they are all fine. my headlights and city lights work(city lights wired up as parking lights). someone help, i need my car cuz i drive my car for my job

If you're sure all the fuses are fine, I'd guess it's a relay issue.:dunno:
If it was just the blinker stalk itself that stopped working that would be different, but if it affected other stuff than it's more than just a problem with the contacts inside the column.
Either that or you somehow burnt out some wiring when you went for the blinker Assuming you didn't do anything weird when you wired up the parking lights, let's assume that's not the case.

they have been in there for like 6-8 months with no problem. i just took the red constant wire from the corners and attached it to the power wire for the city lights

Lemme check my manual real quick...
It's the one right by the Daytime Running Lights crap (whether your car has it or not), to the right of those inputs. Should be listed on your diagram if you have it. (under-dash fuse box to left of steering wheel, for the benefit of whoever)
You could try switching that out for another if that's an option, sometimes testing relays is a pain, but it's not that hard to figure it out if you haven't done it already.
edit: keep in mind I'm no electrician, just that my first guess would be that relay :hsdunno:

Here's the circuit diagram for the turn signal relay.
PITA just to save a pic of it, let alone make it readable h:
Good luck

Check all the fuses under the hood. Even the big square ones. The speedometer and tach get their signals from the ECU. If no power is making it to your cluster, something major is shorted out or one of the main fuses is gone.
