Default There anything to put on this plastic headlights?

I'm wanting to know if there are any sort of plastic covers perhaps clear or lightly tinted that I can put on the headlights of my 96-98 civic?

People also put the clear ones on to protect our headlights from chips and cracks. I'd rathe replace the $20 plastic cover than my whole headlight assembly.

I'm liking this Lamin-X stuff. How long is it good for or is the 5 year guarantee basically saying just that for 5 years till you need to really replace it which is why it's only good for 5 years?

you can put a layer of clear bra (the same stuff they put on hoods) on your headlights and fog lights to prevent cracking from road debris. It peels off without too much drama when you want to get rid of it.

Im just looking to put a film or somthing over the headlight so it doesnt crask from heat or UV. Since the damn light isnt made of glass just to save cost and weight to the car.

The headlight si purchased off ebay (aftermarket of course) are glass with black housings. Very nice headlight even with city light built into it.

GTS makes a clip on cover. Comes in clear, smoked, carbon fiber. I was sponsored by them back in 1999
