Charcoal Canester

Default Charcoal Canester

On my 95 civic i just bought has an ls swap in it. One of the lines coming from the canester isnt hooked up but doesnt it go one the throtle body of the D series?? Where can i hook this too?

the big line about 1/4 in diameter goes to the throtle body then the small one goes to the evap purge solenoid, on the back of the intake, upper, drivers side, top of it is round about size of an quarter, has two wires going to it then when its activated it just applies vacuum to the diaphram on da charcoal canister and sucks all da fumes out, hope that helps, scott

That is on the D series I have an Ls in my civic.

NO both motors uses a evap purge solenoid, ok well at least my b16 and most of the sohc motors i have do, but what year teg did your ls sway come out of? If its an obd0 swap the purge solenoid was mounted on the fire wall, so you will either have to use one of those or get an newer purge soleniod from an obd1 motor.
