Steering Rack for shorter turns?

Steering Rack for shorter turns?
I have a 98ex civic and was wondering if there are other options besides the stock steering rack that will allow me to make shorter turns of the wheel to make turns that the stock rack is?
Thanks

I don't know if anyone currently make one for the EK civics. I know Quaife made manual rack and pinion upgrades for the EG's. You could contact them. Do a little research and see what the steering ratio is on the EK CTR for a possible oem option. Probably could get it of an importer's front clips. I don't know if it worth the trouble or expense on a street car, I would just install a smaller diameter steering wheel and call it a day.

i think that quaife also makes just a different pinion that you can swap out for the stock one, if you dont/cant replace the whole rack. Dont quote me on this, but i think the Man rack have a better ratio than the power.

hmm..is there a manual rack for the ek's? like in a base model? because usually manual racks have less turns end to end. like for an eg the best thing to do would probably just get a cx rack and see how that feels.
if you havent upgraded anything else in your suspension, i would look into other things first.
you would appreciate upgraded shocks and spring more or even a rear sway more than messing with your rack.

Do you want to keep it power? If you want to keep the power steering then there aren't any options other than the CTR rack, if that's even different. If you want to make it a manual rack then Quaife makes a shorter ratio replacement rack and pinion. You just have to have a stock manual rack and then you would have to rebuild it. IMO it's totally worthless to do on a street car and Quaife makes it for race use only.
