Default Power window/door swap.

About 3 months ago, some scumbag crashed into the driver side door of my 96 hatch while it was parked on the street. Before I go ahead and just find an after market door replacement somewhere, I figured I'd use this opportunity to make the switch. To make things easy, would it be possible for me to track down 2 power doors from a junkyard, slap them on my hatch, then take it to a professional to wire? If so, will the 2 doors provide me with everything I need to proceed? Also, will the doors from any 96-00 hatch or coupe work?

I did a swap on a 92 Civic Si. From what I was told, since my car came with vtec, the fuse box under the dash was equipped to plug-and play with a power window set-up. I'm not sure what a dx/lx fuse box has or doesn't have. You'll need the behind-the-dash wiring that goes from the passenger side door and connects with the driver side harness, which then goes to the fuse box. You'll also need a relay and proper gauge fuses.

As far as the fuse box goes, I'm all set. All the plugs I need are there.

Then go for it. Make sure that when you try them out for the first time, that the button to prohibit the passenger side window from moving is pressed to on. I was about to start troubleshooting the wiring, but I looked over and saw it was set to off. :hs:
