i searched around through the forum and i didn't see this particular question...so sorry if it is a repeat

i am assuming that if i get the grille insert from a 99 si it will fit right into the molding already on my 98 ex. am i correct in this assumption? most of the body parts should fit right in, right? just wanted to make sure before i buy one and it doesn't fit. thanks!

 

I honestly don't think it will. I've heard the 96-98 and 99-00 grilles are different but I'm not sure if the molding are exact.

But if you're looking for a mesh insert I say do it yourself. It's fairly easy to do. All I used was a dremel.

 

i guess i will have to look into it more...maybe i can just find one that looks like it is for an Si, or like you said, do it myself

difference between 96-98 and 99-00 is the hood, front bumper, fenders, and headlights so I dont think it would fit unless u replaced all those
