signals don't turn off!?

i have a 96 DX hatchback and i've been having this problem for over a month now. when i turn and use the signals they don't turn off and keep on blinking, i have to manually click it off. its really annoying. the only reason i can think of that would be causing this problem is a bad key or something with the ignition..?? does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix this? PLEASE HELP!
thanks.

Did you happen to install a new steering wheel or anything? If you did, I might be able to help...

Your switch might be broken. It's the switch that controls the headlights, signals, wipers, etc...

no, i did not install a new steering wheel.
where is this switch located and how would i fix it? could it be possible i need new spark plugs and wires or something???
thanks.

umm... your spark plugs have nothing to do with your turn signals.....

I think you need some:

 I just had to use it.. haha!

Most likely a mechanism within the turn signal arm has busted. You may have to replace the arm because they usually don't sell individual parts for things like that.

Good luck man.

its on your steering assembly.. not wiring

There are little metal dowell looking things that flip the turn signals off automatically when you turn your wheel...maybe they're messed up...
