B&M employee seeking feedback on shifter
I have a conference call scheduled tomorrow afternoon with the engineer who designed the shifter. I will bring all your feedback to him, and once we come up with good information I will be back.
Thanks for the constructive criticism, I really appreciate it. I really want to get more in tune with the consumer, and web forums like this make it possible. I have heard the heat shield gripe, as well as the increased 'noise' more than once. Most of the time, an aftermarket unit may create a little more noise inside the cabin. Typically new bushings take care of the noise, but not all cars are the same.
Answers will follow soon guys!
Take care,
Mike

I think that everyone that has a B&M and has the rattle has replaced their bushings. That's usually the first thing that everyone suggests when we post those problems.
I think this is AWESOME! to have someone from a major company that we all buy things from come out here and get our opinions. I'd like to think you are the first of many mkiimike. I applaud you for taking the initiative and posting out here man, it really shows that you care about what you do.
Props man.. props!

I'm into old school Toyotas (celicasupra.com is my site) and I know what its like to not have anyone answer questions. Hell, no one makes anything for my old junker, so I have to have everything fabricated (you guys are spoiled
A few local Honda buddies swear by this site, so I figured it would be the 1st on my tour.

Yes most of us are mature enough to be open to other "outsiders"
