Did you use new gaskets on the throttle body? You might have created and intake leak. Some intake leaks (gasket related) leak cold. Heat applied to some thing make is expand. Letting something cool off contracts and object.
What plugs are you using. I have a hard time re using flooded out plugs in less i clean them with this http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...atalogId=10101 Mini sand blaster.
http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/t.../diagnosis.htm 2nd one down is covered in carbon. Carbon is a better conductor of electricity then air so the spark never jumps the gap.

the gasket on the throttle body broke so we put some kind of gasket stuff out of a tube on there untill i can find one advanced auto said they dont have anything or see gaskets in there computer spark plugs are bosh or something like that

update on the car. well what we did was put the tbs back on because it had to gaskets sinve the throttle body on broke. the car started up after we did that and it idled really high then go low then high then low doing it pretty quick. well we pulled the vacum hose to the fuel filter relay the the vacum on top the the throttle body and it idle stoped and it idle alirght but not normal like it should. ok we put the hose back on then it did the idle high and low again so i took it for a ride i drove it ran good drove good but when u let go of the gas it would idle the high and low stuff again.we really dont no what to do, maybe the ecu isnt reading the tbs right, the distributor, were thinking its not getting a spark some where i dont no, i ordered the throttle body gasket comes thursday, i really need this car going again im having trouble getting home and to work lol.
yeah if the throttle body spacer is not machined for that application and is only universal, it will block the air flow to the manifold at idle making it idle low when you put it in gear. you would have to take the tbs you purchased to a machine shop to open it up on the edges so it dosen't restrict the airflow at idle.
