Default Adjustable Cam gears

Can anyone recommend a good set of cam gears for my B16A? I have been told both good and bad things about aem and skunk2. I have heard that both slip and do not hold their settings very well. Is this true? Any advice will be very helpful and appreaciated! I am open to suggestions about any other brands as well.

I've always heard that the 5 bolt gears hold the best...

Are you gonna get new cams as well??? I'd get the same brand cam gears as the cams if it were me...

Actually, I'll be getting some Skunk2 Stage 1 cams and cam gears soon....

i got skunk2, they use a 6 bolt to hold it in place. aem is ****ty cuz its held by 3, go with any gear with 4 and up. kinda stoopet when their fuel rail is like 180 bukks and their gears r only 60 bukks. u would think aem would be smarter then to make crappy cam gears.

Default Cam Gears

I am planning on getting aftermarket cams as well. Sorry I failed to mention that. I am looking at the ctr cams straight from honda.

i have obx cam gears i am about to install. people spit on obx but they have 5 lock bolts and i got them brand new pretty much for free. i rplaced the hex bolts with 8mm socket style bolts so that i can torque them to the specified 15lbs ft/torque. im giving them a shot within the next week or two.

Worried about slippage?! I LOVE these cam gears; no SOHC though, boo!
