Default how hard to fix

im lookin at buyin this car here
http://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/car/392858727.html
i know this is a great deal for the money.or a shit deal you decide. buuttt he said ,when i email this guy, that "cannot be driven, until the timing belt tension pulley is replaced with the bolt". and needs a battery but ill just take one from a buddies car. it sounds easy enough but i really dont have anytthing to haul it back with. i know your gonna bash but im young and dont have much money but this seems like a great deal. so wut is it gonna take to get this thing to run for me so i can get it home or should i just hope he doesnt sell it yet so i can later on get a way to get it home. thanks

you can count on that car being beat to shit by the current owner. keep looking for a car that's not someone's headache. 4 grand for a car you cant drive? patience is a virtue.
