Default Nothing

Well i had a rough idle for a lil while and i fixed it ,it was my MAP so i was driving and the car died tried startin it nothin , it has spark any ideas on what is it ? im was thinkin Iacv but let me knwo what u think cos im kinda lost was fine and just died..k thanks

You could check to see if you have fuel to rule that out - sometimes you can smell it from the exhaust or even see it running out the intake after you've been turning it over for a while.

However, an easier way that may be nicer on the car would be to pull a plug after you've turned the motor over and see if the plug is wet or can at least smell fuel in the cylinder.
The motor needs to be cool before you pull the plug so the threads don't get damaged (aluminum head) but if it's been out of commission for a while just turn it over and then pull the plug.

If no fuel it could be the pump, main relay, ecu, possibly others.

If you have fuel I would lean towards distributor, ignitor, or timing belt.

Just educated guesses, I'm not an expert.

Ok i got fuel the check engine lights on and umm what else oh i cant pull any freakin codes with my scanner could it be the scanner?
