my 97 civic non vtec is idling rough and theres black smoke out the tail pipe any idea what the problem is ?

Your civic qualifies for the 98-081 emissions warranty extension. If you have less than 150k on it you can get a free set of plugs, wires, cap and rotor plus an oil change at no cost ( assuming it hasnt been done already ) from any Honda dealership.

And, if under 150k, Honda will fix any DTC related failure on your car for free.

 

it did have mods but im puttin it back to stock yea its under 150k so ill just have honda look at it .. thanks
