I own a '99 Civic Sedan. I recently bought it. Its pretty clean inside and outside but its gas padal/acceleration is not smooth. Whenever i press even slightly, it just gives a sticky feeling and the car doesn;t move smoothly. It just jerks into motion.

Is it the engine or the accelerator.


Very frustrating. Any advise would be welcome.

Have your dealer do a vin static thy have a few recalls on them. I think thy have one on the throttle cable.
